S30 electric spinning wheel
In 1977, the electric spinning wheel S30 was developed for people with poor leg function. The S30 offers the same possibilities as the other Louët spinning wheels and is driven by a sewing machine motor, the speed of which is infinitely variable by means of a foot pedal. There have been two versions: with a single string and with two strings.
Spare parts are still available and the current spools fit on the spinning wheel. The bulky flight is suitable for the old “reversible” coils. If there are problems with the foot control or the motor, it is best to go to a sewing machine shop, they can probably replace the parts.
