Junior Drum Carder
With its near 4 inch width, the Louët Junior carder is particularly suitable for carding fleeces for spinning or for small felting projects. The narrower roller is not a disadvantage when mixing colors and/or fibers and produces batts of approximately 40 grams.
Standard Drum Carder
The Louët Standard carder is a workhorse. With a width of 7 1/2 inches, fleeces of up to approx. 80 grams can be carded. Mixing colors and fibers is also easy on these carders.
XL Drum Carder
The XL drum carder is designed for large projects. The drum width is 30 cm making it possible to card larger bats up to 120 gr. The wide drum is also handy to blend colors.
Standard Electric Drum carder
The electric drum carder is equipped with a powerful built-in 370 W motor (230 Volt -5 0 Hz), which drives the large drum with a geared V-belt system to approximately 90 r.p.m. A switch is located in the front panel. It is available in 46 or 72 tpi carding cloth and 19 cm (8”) wide drums.
Electric Drum carder XL
The electric drum carder XL is equipped with a powerful built-in 370 W motor (230 Volt -50 Hz), which drives the large drum with a geared V-belt system to approximately 90 r.p.m. A switch is located in the front panel. The machine runs smoothly and with the choice of 46 or 72 tpi carding cloth it is suitable for all fibres.
Handcards & Combs
Louët single row and double row mini combs, both 6.5 cm (2 1/2′′) are wide. These handy tools are a unique device which can be used for de-hairing and fine fibre combing. They are made of ash with a lacquer finish.
Louët handcards are made of European basswood. These light weighted handcards have a curved back and ergonomic handles that fit comfortably in your hands.
With our blending board you can blend different types and colours of fibre and make rolags. You can easily put layers of fibres and colours on it to create beautiful effects in your spun yarn or felted items.
