Information
This budget spinning wheel is mechanically the same as the S10, using the same hardware and components. To keep costs down, it is unfinished and made from a high grade birch plywood. All wooden parts are sanded; however, some finishing touches may be needed and why we supply a small piece of sandpaper. It is recommended to finish the S17 before using.
The kit is supplied with a lazykate rack and three bobbins. Technically, the S17 is the same as the S10 Concept with Irish tension, so that all Irish tension flyers and bobbins work with the S17.
Beginning in 2024Louet added a double treadle S17 to our product assortment.
