Louët hand carders are made of a very light and strong type of wood. They are curved and have rounded handles, making them ergonomic to use. The carding cloth is made of galvanized steel wire on a rubber surface. The high quality guarantees durability and longevity.

The Louët handcards are sold in pairs. The hand cards with 46 tpi cloth (teeth per square inch) are very suitable for carding coarser fibers. The hand cards with 110 tpi cloth are available in 19 x 10 cm and 10 x 10 cm and are more suitable for carding cotton and other fine fibers, such as angora, silk and cashmere.
