A heddle regulates the height of a warp thread on the loom. Each heddle has an eye in the center through which the warp thread passes. Heddles come in bundles of 100 (standard white), clipped for easy mounting and organization on the shafts. They are joined to prevent tangling but can be separated if needed.

If the length of a heddle is unknown, simply stretch it with two sticks and measure against a tape.
