Eco Jeans
The Venne Eco Jeans Nm 12/2 yarn is recycled from jeans/jeans clothing and used PET bottles. The old clothes are given a second chance thanks to this unique production process. Denim fabric is made very small, but no thread can be spun from this loose fiber. A thread can be spun by adding used, finely chopped PET bottles to the loose jeans fiber. This results in a sturdy linen-like thread with a soft structure. Available in “real” jeans colours, as the jeans are selected by colour.
Linen
Linen is made from the flax plant and is one of the oldest cultivated crops. Linen is cool, breathable, and the textiles made from it have a long life. Especially in the summer, linen wears wonderfully due to its natural properties. The more you use it, the softer and stronger it gets. Linen is less elastic than, for example, cotton and will therefore crease faster. But that is precisely one of the charming characteristics of linen.
Mercerized Cotton
Venne Cotton is double combed, mercerized, gassed and therefore smooth, shiny and strong. The silky appearance and the deep intense colors are the characteristics of this yarn. Also available as Venne Multi-Color where several colors overlap. Check out the following yarn thicknesses:
Silk
Crafting and needlework with silk is pure luxury! The silk thread is the finest of all natural fibers. Unlike wool, the silk fibers are smooth and do not have a scaly structure, which gives it a beautiful shine. Silk has a large number of pleasant properties and lends itself to many applications. An exclusive but also very strong yarn.
