Elektrische Kardiermaschine XL 72 tpi - 230 V
This carder allows effortless two-hand feeding and is ideal
for processing large amounts of fiber. The rollers are 30 cm wide and fitted with 46 tpi
or 72 tpi carding cloth
made of nickel-plated steel wire on a cotton and natural rubber backing,
providing long-lasting durability. The roller acceleration is 4:1, while the
surface speed ratio between the large and small roller is 9:1, ensuring
effective carding. The typical capacity for XL is approximately 120 grams per fleece. All electric models are delivered with a manual, a
carding booklet written by Deb Menz, a doffer brush, and a doffer pin, so you
can start carding immediately.

The electric drum carder is designed for efficient,
hands-free carding and is delivered fully assembled. It is equipped with a
powerful built-in 370 W
motor (230 V, 50 Hz) that drives the large drum
via a geared V-belt system at approximately 90 r.p.m.
The front panel switch is protected by a safety plate: to operate the switch,
slide the plate over the rollers; when removing the fleece, the plate
automatically covers the switch again. The frame is made of waterproof glued
birch plywood with a white HPL top layer, and the carder sits on rubber
buffers, so it does not need to be bolted down. In case of overheating, the
motor switches off automatically.
