S10 Concept Spinning Wheel
The S10 spinning wheel is Louet's original spinning wheel developed over 50 years ago. This variation features Scotch Tension, a favourite because you can adjust your tension by much smaller increments and the intake is smoother. The S10 double treadle 5 spoke spinning wheel is a more modern main wheel design. The double treadle system is considered to be more balanced for the spinner, keeping both feet moving in rhythm
In 2022 we added the clips to the flyer to tie off your spun yarn to prevent unravelling. We also changed the sliding guides (See video for their use).

The S10 is Loüet's original spinning wheel. Since its inception (almost 50 years ago), the S10 has received many small improvements. Now the spinning wheel has undergone a great metamorphosis; you can design your favourite S10C by choosing a single or double treadle, and Irish or Scotch tension braking. Then you choose the look of the flywheel: the classic S10 wheel, the Julia wheel with three spokes or the new wheel with five spokes. Finally choose your flyer and bobbins and other accessories.
In all its versions, the S10 Concept can be easily disassembled and thus fits in the bag that you can order as an accessory.
After you have had your S10C for a while, you may want to add additional accessories: you can change from single to double treadle (or vice versa), a different fly wheel or a different drive? Do you want to spin with Scotch tension and twine with Irish tension? Then all you have to do is change the head of your spinning wheel with flight and reel! The new S10C spinning wheel makes a lot possible; you can of course also put together the classic S10, the S10 DT and the S11 Julia.
